The latest edition of Parity magazine is dedicated to Housing First and features stories from around the world, including The People’s Project in Hamilton.
The article’s lead writer, Dr Polly Atatoa Carr from Waikato University’s National Institute of Demographic and Economic Analysis, is working with our team to help us better understand the drivers of homelessness in Hamilton, New Zealand.
This article shares some of this early research, revealing key characteristics about the demographics, debt profiles and homeless situations of early clients of The People’s Project Hamilton. We sincerely thank the people who agreed to share their information for this research.
